The
filter housing is literally fitted in the line
of pipework that feeds the cold side of the
existing tap. The 15mm supply pipe
is fitted with a stop tap before entering the
filter housing and the 15mm pipework continues
to the tap, so very little mains pressure is
lost at the tap. This type of system is usually
supplied with a housing containing a two part
carbon filter. The housing fits directly on
to the 15mm cold water supply pipe under the
sink.
